Synopsis
Stories in the Streets shows the educational work that storyteller Karel Baracs performs with children from different backgrounds and cultures in a school in a neighborhood in Amsterdam. Taking the children on his special bicycle-wagon, Karel introduces the children to people in the street and elicits interesting personal narratives from everyone he meets. By interacting with the people in their neighborhood and being introduced to Dutch vocabulary, Karel makes a lasting impression on the importance of storytelling with his unique program.
