New Vision School is a private school in the Gorge that provides a holistic, project based
education to children ages 3-13. It is located in the historic Mount Hood Town Hall, and has
been in operation since 2006.
Students in grades 3rd-6th started learning about writing screenplays and making movies at
the beginning of the school year. Since then, they have worked diligently to complete an entire
screen play, with at least two edits, and to take on the task of directing and editing their work.
The screen play workshop inspired many of the younger students to also complete the project at
home, because of the enthusiasm and dedication those working on it had.
